Welcome to Balancc ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Balancc mobile app, website, and related services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Balancc.

1. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • Use Balancc only for lawful and personal (non-commercial) purposes

2. Account Registration

To use Balancc, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized use or security breaches

We may suspend or terminate accounts found to be fraudulent, abusive, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Service Description

Balancc provides tools to:

  • Link and track your bank and financial accounts
  • Analyze spending, income, and trends
  • Deliver personalized insights, financial scores, and categorization

We do not offer financial advice, investment recommendations, or regulated banking services.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree:

  • Not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code
  • Not to use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not to interfere with the proper operation of the Services
  • To comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • To provide accurate and up-to-date information

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by Balancc and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy & Data

Our Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy, explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Balancc, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Services will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Financial information will be accurate or up-to-date
  • The Services will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BALANCC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Balancc after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
